Makis is located in the immediate vicinity of Ada Ciganlija. It abounds in forests. The most famous buildings in Makis are houses and rafts along the Sava River. The rafts are mostly owned by Belgraders, who use them as weekend houses - to escape the crowds of Belgrade.
