Belgrade Drama Theater was founded in 1947 under the name City Theater, and the first performance YOUTH OF OUR FATHERS, directed by Peter S. Petrovic, and written by Boris Gorbatov, played on 20 February 1948. Theater in the fifties of the last century had in mind the political aspects of development of contemporary art.
