Military Museum is positioned in a building built in 1924 for purposes of Military-Geographical Institute, and in 1956 the building was given to Military Museum. Its former building was destroyed during World War II and it was not big enough for increased museum fund. After three years of adaptation, the Museum was re-opened in 1959.
