Paul Kalkbrenner comes from Berlin. He started a musical journey as a twelve-year-old. The owner of the Paul Kalkbrenner Music label is the biggest techno star from Germany with two and a half million followers on Facebook. The first techno artist who took the main stage of the famous Tomorrowland festival in 2016.

The music he creates aims to take listeners away from everyday life through genuine energy experience somewhere where there is art and love. He began his career in local clubs when his friend Sascha Funke and he began to perform as DJs. Soon they became serious collectors of music that was being played at the then most popular clubs and Paul decided to create music because he wanted to conquer the dance floor with his copyright tracks. Already in 1999, he released for a young label Bpitch Control and his work brought melody and serenity to techno music, which was completely different from the dark monotonous wave that was then popular.

Since the beginning of his career, he has released a total of seven albums. During 2004, he received a call to make music for film Berlin Calling and after meeting with the director, he also got the leading role. The film was rated as one of the better achievements of German video production, and the single Sky and Sand was even 121 weeks on top charts. After a great success with this project, he began to conquer the world electronic scene and a great tour was followed by a documentary in which Paul openly talked about himself, his life and his career.

Performances at festivals like Coachella Festival, Garorock, Hurricane, Southside and Electric Picnic are just another way to present his skills for this techno magician. Performing with Iggy Pop and Nicki Minaj are another confirmation of his unusual talent. After conquering America, he received a call from the German government to perform at the Branderburg Gate in 2014 celebrating the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. This engagement was recorded as one of the most important performances he has ever had.

The current year is marked by a series of mixes Back to the future that returns him to his underground roots. Through the trilogy he broadcasts personal history and electronic music in Germany. Viral process has done its own so numerous downloads from the Internet and the sold tour in even ten countries are the best indicators of how much this DJ and producer is worth.
