Belgrade Music Festival in the jubilee 50th edition

Bemus 2018 starts on 10th October at 20:00. Nine concerts of art music at famous locations will present dozens of prominent artists through a quality programme. The golden edition of the famous Belgrade festival will last until 20th October.

The honor to open the Bemus 2018 solemnly has Nigel Kennedy. Virtuoso with an impressive career, together with the chamber ensemble will present his impressive talent at the concert "Bach Meets Kennedy Meets Gershwin" at the Sava Center on 10th October from 20:00. The next day of the festival is reserved for the "Concert of Young Artists" featuring Viktor Radic, piano and Milena Damnjanovic, soprano. The young musicians will perform in the festive hall of the City Hall, followed by five great concerts at Kolarac.


Violinist Edwin E.S. Kim accompanied by piano, exceptional Natalija Mladenovic, Vadim Rudenko, Scharoun Ensemble, Berlin Philharmonic Soloists, Brodsky Quartet, maestral Bojan Sudjic, RTS Symphony Orchestra and Ramón Vargas will play well-known melodies of classical music with excellent vocals. The concert of the original folk music by the author PhD Dimitrije Golemovic at the National Museum on 19th October will completely change the rhythm of Bemus.

On the last day of the festival, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the choir of the Slovenian Philharmonic, the conductor Gabriel Feltz, Sophie Klussmann, Soprano, Charlotte Quadt, Mezzo-soprano, Brenden Gunnell, Tenor and Markus Eiche, Baritone perform. Beethoven and Gostuski, performed by magnificent musicians, will mark the end of this year's music manifestation Bemus on 20th October at 20:00 at Kolarac Endowment.
