The National Ballet of Spain at Sava Center

The most famous Spanish dance group announced a spectacle on the big stage of Sava Center

Big concert hall of Sava Center will host the National Ballet of Spain for the second time on 4th June in 20:00. The National Ballet was founded by the Ministry of Culture and it promotes the highest values of ballet. Famous dance group carefully cherishes tradition of flamenco, classical Spanish dance, music and dance originated in Andalusia in the 18th century, and not only that, but zarzuela and escuela bolero, stylized Spanish dance.


Over 40 magnificent dancers with dozens of musicians will perform four famous acts: "Bolero", "Ritmos", "Solea del Manton" and "Alento". The choreography is by Alberto Lorca, Blanca Del Rey, Rafael Aguilar and Antonio Nahar who is the artistic director of the theater. Since its establishment in 1978 until now the National Ballet has been associated with the creativity of dancers such as Joaquin Cortes, Eva Uerbabuena, Jose Antonio, Carmen Amara, Aurora Pons, Nana Lorca, Aida Gomez and many others.


The National Ballet was founded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture in 1978 and has a great international recognition and numerous awards. In November of 2010, UNESCO declared Flamenco one of the masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity which include "traditions, performing arts and practices that are inherited from ancestors and passed on to descendants".

Lavish costumes, beautiful music, passionate dancing to the sounds of dozens of castanettes in the hands of the dancers – a fairy tale told without words, a life lived through magnificent dances is again in Belgrade.

Tickets can be purchased at the Sava Center and "Eventim" box offices at prices of 2300, 3400 and 4700 dinars (RSD).
