The author was born in Moscow, into the family of the famous architect Yuri Beryozkin, where she graduated from art school and the faculty of architecture. She has been living and creating in Belgrade for thirty years. For twenty years, she worked at the Russian House as an art director and founder of a children's art school. So far, she has had around sixty solo exhibitions at home and abroad. She has exhibited in cultural centers in Paris, Vienna, and Helsinki.
Ekaterina Milicevic is the recipient of various awards for her participation in humanitarian actions, from the City Assembly of Belgrade and the Moscow Culture Committee.
