It's good to be in Belgrade right now, at the beginning of July, because great events in the city are starting. The announced temperatures for the first week of July - truly tropical. The heat in the air is easier to bear when you are having a good time. During the first days of July, everything is subordinated to the best city's partying. Read quickly because new events in the city are about to start!

1. Belgrade Rock Festival

Note: The event is postponed to September 19th and 20th.

The Youth Center, a cultural institution that has dictated the rhythm of the city for six decades, is launching a festival that Belgrade has missed. On Friday and Saturday, July 4th and 5th from 19:00, first-class rock will be played. The premiere edition will be marked by Kanda, Kodza i Nebojsa, Nicim izazvan, Del Arno Band, Texas Flood, Hornsman Coyote, Nataleé, Cotton Pickers and Monday Blues Band. Along with the powerful musical program, a video program and accompanying content have been prepared.

Summer on Gardos 2025

This year's Zemun cultural and artistic specialty begins on Saturday, July 5th and will last until September 1st. The 24th Summer on Gardos brings performances for children, performances for adults and two concerts. Traditionally, the program has been carefully created. Traditionally, Garavi sokak will play for the audience on the summer stage "Gardos", exactly on August 23rd from 21:00. Traditionally, this is an event that should not be missed.

On Fridays and Saturdays, performances start at 21:00. Sundays and Mondays are reserved for the children's program, which starts at 20:30.

Watercolor exhibition "Perspective"

From June 30th to July 8th, the Singidunum Gallery becomes the home of the exceptional works of Marija Puzigaca, a master artist. In her works, the artist explores the multi-layeredness of urban space through different types of perspectives and at the same time invites the audience to reconsider their own place within each layer. The exhibited works were created from previous visual experiences, by grouping shapes and the smallest perceptual stimuli. The paintings depict the dynamics of the city, emphasizing the geometry of buildings and the paths of streets.

Tekstival

From July 4th to 6th, the New Tekstil Plateau will be the venue for the premiere event - Tekstival. The new festival of electronic music, urban culture and authentic energy in Dorcol style promises great rhythm and a really good vibe. More than 30 DJs from the country and the world will perform on a total of six stages.

During the festival, three theme zones will be organized: Vinyl Street - a paradise for record lovers, collectors and music enthusiasts, Food Street - a carefully designed gastronomic street with local flavors and Tekstil Street - a zone of sustainable fashion and handmade brands.

Avala Race

The 47th Avala Race is scheduled for Sunday, July 6th, starting at 11:00. The start of the race is at the Monument to the Unknown Hero. Races for children of 200, 300 and 500 meters, a race of one and two kilometers for pioneers, juniors and veterans, the "Pavle Jovanovic Memorial" race with a total length of three kilometers and the "Brana Radovic Memorial" race of five kilometers are the sports program for registered and ready competitors. May the fastest one win!

The organizers of the city sports festival "Avala Race 2025" are AC "Veteran" and the Association of Athletic Veterans of Serbia, under the auspices of the Vozdovac Municipal Assembly.

Jazz in the Garden

On the fifth and sixth day of July, the Botanical Garden "Jevremovac" becomes an oasis of jazz music. Three stages for 16 concerts and a uniquely beautiful garden are everything you need for a hot city night, but one to remember.
