Beogradjanka, the symbol of the city. The famous beauty was an architectural wonder at the time of its "birth", especially because the skyscrapers were not a Balkan region characteristic. It was built from 1969 to 1974, and the architect Branko Pesic was in charge of its appearance. The impressive office building has 23 floors and is considered to be the forerunner of smart buildings.

Belgrade Palace is 101 meters high, and most of its space is occupied by state institutions. Also, the Belgrade television station "Studio B" has been on the top of the building since last century. In the eighties and nineties, it was the main address for shopping in a department store located on the ground floor. Even today, various boutiques are located here, but due to popular shopping centers they are not as attractive as they used to be.

On the top floor there is a viewpoint that used to be the main tourist attraction. It has been closed for visitors for decades. Another feature of this building is the elevators - the fastest ones in the whole country. It takes only thirty seconds from the ground floor to the top of the Beogradjanka.
