This is the institution which has presented the spirit and culture of Russia in Serbia for decades. The Russian House was created from the desire that thousands of residents from all over Russia, who lost their country due to the wars, preserve their culture and traditions. During the 1920s, after the end of the civil war in Russia in the territory of the then Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, over 40.000 expelled Russians found a new home.
