The lecture "The Battle of Kosovo: Folk Memory and Female Characters" will explore the theme of the Battle of Kosovo in folk tradition and history through a panel discussion. From a historical perspective, special focus will be placed on women whose lives were connected to the Battle of Kosovo, making them indirect participants in this event so vital to the cultural memory of the entire nation.
The discussion will feature Katarina Mitrovic, Professor of Folk Literature at the Department of Serbian Literature with South Slavic Literatures at the University of Belgrade.
