Sound - whether music, speech, noise, or silence - is a key element of Dragan Vojvodic's artistic practice. As a carrier of information, energy, and physical presence, sound appears in his work as an integral part of video and performance, a tool for direct communication with the audience, and a standalone artistic medium.
The exhibition brings together works created over the past two decades, including installations, objects, and video and audio pieces. Through a complex sonic landscape - ranging from distorted effects and ambient hiss to vocal noise, speech, and silence, Vojvodic explores the relationship between the auditory and the visual, while addressing questions of identity, memory, and the contemporary experience.
