"Speak: Art - Waste as a Resource" uses the works of contemporary African artists to highlight one of the key global challenges: the consequences of the ever-growing volume of waste and the possibilities of transforming it into a valuable resource.
The title of the exhibition serves as a dual invitation: to speak out clearly and loudly about the waste problem ("Speak"), while also recognizing the artistic and craft potential of objects created through recycling ("Art").
The display features artistic objects made from plastic, metal, and glass packaging, textiles, paper, and even rubber flip-flops. The exhibition opens a dialogue on global waste flows, Africa's position in these processes, and the importance of socially responsible practices and initiatives aimed at environmental preservation.
