From May 30th to July 5th, an exhibition curated by Predrag Djidic, senior curator of the City Museum of Belgrade, will be open to the public at the Zarkovo Heritage Museum and the Zemun Heritage Museum.
Works from the gift collection that Milos Sobajic designated for the City of Belgrade during his lifetime, and which was entrusted to the care of the City Museum of Belgrade, will be presented across two different locations.
Ten works created between 1967 and 2018 will be exhibited at the Zarkovo Heritage Museum, providing insight into different phases of Sobajic's creativity - from early pieces like "The Tower of Babel" and "The Crowd" through powerful and energetically charged compositions such as "A Place of Great Danger" and "Group Portrait" all the way to well - known works like "Suffocation" and "Persecution."
Simultaneously, a chamber exhibition unit will be set up at the Zemun Heritage Museum, featuring selected pieces that invite reflection on Sobajic's relationship with reality, society, and modern man.
