Ada Huja

Downstream from the Pancevo bridge, only four kilometers from the city centre, lies coastal area known as Ada Huja. It streches from Pancevo bridge to the Visnjicka Banja. It is shaped by the waters of the danube river, on one side, and Visnjicka street, on the other side. For years garbage from all over Belgrade has been dumped in this area. It has been like that until landfill was not moved to Vinca. Nowdays here is located the largest karting track in the Balkans. Within karting track there is a court for volleyball on the sand. Nearby there are three tennis courts, two on clay, one on the hard surface. Courts dimensions correspond to the rules for the Davis cup competition. Arranged playgrounds and lighted walkway with benches attract many people to enjoy in this area.
