His Holiness Patriarch Pavle (Paul) Race takes place on 2nd July, organized by the Municipality of Rakovica. Like previous two years, this year as well, two races take place: half marathon (21,1 km) and recreational race (5,3). The beginning of the Race of Pleasure is scheduled for 18:15, while half marathon starts at 18:30. Participation in both races is completely free. All citizens, guests of Belgrade, companies and their employees are invited to come and be part of the sports manifestation. Everyone interested can apply for participation until 14:00 on the day of the event, at the municipality parking.
Half marathon is time limited on 180 minutes, and the Race of Pleasure on 60 minutes. Medal award ceremony will be held in front of the Rakovica Monastery, and best students will be awarded at the plateau in front of the municipality Rakovica at 21:00.
The Municipality of Rakovica is the organizer and the patron of the "Rakovicko kulturno leto" manifestation (Rakovica`s cultural summer) that takes place from 1st July to 31st August. "Gradski maraton" (City marathon) sports association is a member or the organizing committee responsible for the marathon. The race has blessing of the Monastery Rakovica. A large number of sports, cultural and fun contests make the programme of the manifestation that every year has more and more visitors. The marathon route is following:
