The first Belgrade Half Marathon is organized on 3rd December 2017. The debut sports event consists of two races - Belgrade 21 and Belgrade 10. The number of participants is limited up to 2,000 runners in each discipline, and the competition for entries is open until 29th November for a long run, or until 30th November for a race of ten kilometers.
The gathering of the competitors is from 09:00 to 10:30 at Nikola Pasic Square and the start of the race is at the junction of Bulevar kralja Aleksandra and Resavska Street at 11:00. Sports event is a great preparation for all those who are preparing for the 31st Belgrade Marathon scheduled for 21st April 2018. Interesting new races are a real challenge for professionals, amateurs and people who cherish healthy living habits.
The award ceremony of the "Beograde 10" will take place on the finish line at 12:00, and the best runners in the half marathon will be awarded the medals at 13:00 in the same place. The competition is held according to the official rules of ASS and IAFF. The race spectacle is organized by the Belgrade Marathon, supported by Paco Borao, President of the World Association of Marathon and Street Race "AIMS", the largest international sports association.
