Beauty and the Beast on ice

Beauty and the Beast on ice is being performed in Stark Arena from 15th to 17th December. The Russian Ice Stars troupe performs a famous fairy tale that fits perfectly into the festive mood. The performance is synchronized into the Serbian language so that the youngest will be able to completely enjoy the fairy tale magic. An unusual atmosphere will be created by thirty participants, outstanding acrobats on ice, great music and beautiful costumes.

"Beauty and the Beast" fairy tale is a work of writer Charles Perrault from the 17th century. The father of three daughters, once a successful merchant, tries to regain the former reputation and wealth. The youngest daughter, Beauty, modest and very beautiful, is quite different from the older sisters who want money, pricey dresses and the life they had while the father was making good money. As he decided to regain his former status, he goes on a road for which he hopes to solve financial problems. Daughters give him a long list of gifts and Beauty wants only one rose.

On his way back, the father got lost. He saw a large castle and bravely knocked for help. Although he did not see the host, he thanked for hospitality and went home the next morning. In the garden of the castle he saw the roses, remembered Beauty's wishes and picked one. When the host saw this, he thought that the merchant was an ungrateful thief. The unlucky merchant found out that hospitality had been given to him by the Beast, and one life does not mean much to him. The continuation of the fairy tale will show that humility and goodness are the greatest virtues, and that pride is always punished.

The concept of ice theater was created by Vee Deplidge in 1993. With the Russian Ice Stars troupe and this fairy tale, he started a different production career. Audience all over the world delightfully reacts to their every performance, and numerous awards won suggest that expert criticism has only the best opinion on such projects. The troupe consists of professional skaters, former competitors at national, European and Olympic competitions. Special effects and quality costumes with outstanding acrobats on ice create a special experience for the audience of all generations.
