The upcoming weekend is special because of lot of things. Belgraders are preparing for the most joyous holiday, Easter. Do not exaggerate with activities in your home, but take advantage of the time for great city events.


The Big Easter Carnival at Tasmajdan is organized on 7th and 8th April. The second in the row event in Tasmajdan Park is created for all generations. Various musical and dance performances, street entertainers - clowns, jugglers, pantomimists and artists on stilts - will provide great fun. Especially to the youngest. Majorettes, carnival troops and attractive percussionists will make the weekend unforgettable.

Sale of decorated eggs of humanitarian character, horse riding in the city center, open air cinema, "baby race" with a great gift for the fastest - new baby stroller, creative workshops and much more is offered. It is certain that the most crowds will be in the egg tapping competition and the choice for the most beautiful Easter basket. Fun is guaranteed.


The Ethnographic Museum has organized the right event for this period. The exhibition and catalog "Egg Decorated with Wax - Traditional Techniques and Tools" represent cultural heritage and customs related to the painting of Easter eggs.
