The Belgrade Irish Festival 2019 is organized at 25 locations from 25th to 17th March. More than 50 events are prepared for the 7th Irish presentation. This is not a big event in the country or region. The festival in Belgrade is one of the largest promoters of Ireland in the whole world.

Besides the fact that you will not be bored at all, you will discover a lot of things. Among other things, there is an unbreakable connection between Irish and Serbian people.

An Irish-Serbian outdoor exhibition will be set up at the Sava promenade on 4th March. Until 30th March, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the exhibits of Christian architecture in church art. It is this setting that will show that the geographical distance does not mean anything, and that the similarities of these two nations are noticeable at first glance.

The official opening of the art programme is scheduled for 11th March when the movie "The Little Stranger", directed by Lenny Abrahamson, who had one of his films nominated for the Oscars in 2016, will be broadcast in the Yugoslav Cinematheque. After the screening, the director will talk to the audience.

The Baraka Cultural Center is the venue of a special event where the star of street art, James Earley, will paint an incredible 180 square meters. He will leave an eternal signature in Belgrade with mural technique and everyone who is interested will have the opportunity to meet this great artist who will, after doing the job, share his experiences without any secrets.

For the end, more precisely on 16th and 17th March, in honour of St. Patrick's Day, the city of Belgrade, like other world metropolises, will shine in green shades. The Ada bridge, the National Museum, the Palace Albanija, the National Assembly, the Main Post Office, the Cumicevo Sokace, the Moskva hotel and the Embassy of Canada will shine in green.

Do not miss the Belgrade Irish Festival 2019 because this is a unique opportunity to discover the habits, history and culture of the country of good people, positive energy and excellent beer. Perhaps Ireland will become your new favourite travel destination.
