Belgrade marathon 2019 is held under the slogan "Run, enjoy, help someone". A special novelty is the Race of Goodness, which will, through charity action, raise funds to solve current social problems.
The 42,195 kilometers long marathon, the 21,1 kilometers long half-marathon and the 5 kilometers long Fun Run will, according to the expectations of the organizer, gather a record number of participants. Considering the fact that this event in 2018 won the largest world recognition in its category, "AIMS Social Award", it is clear that at the start - the corner of Bulevar kralja Aleksandra and Resavska Street, the best racers from all over the world will be positioned.
The promoter of the Belgrade marathon 2019 is Paul Tergat. The proud owner of 13 medals from the biggest global competitions, multiple record holder in marathon, half-marathon and races of 10,000 meters, managed to win cross five times in his rich career. He also participated in the marathon he is promoting now, but never won. After completing his career, he turned to humanitarian activities. Paul Tergat is the United Nations Ambassador in the fight against hunger.
