The 18th Belgrade Boat Carnival takes place on Saturday, 8th July from 17:00 to 22:00. A favorite city area, the Sava Promenade will be in the rhythm of the best mood throughout the day, because this year's festival also brings an exceptional supporting program. The traditional procession of decorated vessels will parade from the Old Sava Bridge to Gazela starting at 19:00. Information says that the largest number of participants ever registered. All vessels compete in the selection for the most beautifully decorated vessel and valuable prizes are provided for the winners.
Great musical news: from 21:00, the band Tap 011 will be a guest. Before the big concert, numerous performers will perform on stage and the carnival atmosphere will be at its peak. Serbian trumpet princess Danijela Veselinovic also confirmed her presence. Attractive content for children is guaranteed to turn the youngest audience into the happiest one. Animators, workshops, entertainers and much more will be arranged along the promenade during the event.
The ceremonial opening was left to the parade of the Police Orchestra, majorettes from Bela crkva and the children's choir Carolija. A party that will be remembered from the first minute to the last.
The Carnival Eco Bazaar will present prominent local producers. Organic products, healthy food, works of art, designer jewelry, souvenirs and various unique products with the Made in Serbia label. The gala offer of the bazaar consists of Master Kraft with its exhibitors and Mini Ukus Fest with recognizable producers of domestic products. A unique, delicious, perfect experience is ready for Saturday.
The traditional city event traditionally continues its cooperation with humanitarian organizations which will also have a special place at the Boat Carnival this year. SOS Children's Villages of Serbia, Children's Center Zvezda, the citizens' association for the care of children without parental care and the special elementary school Miodrag Matic will present themselves at the stands and explain the importance of participating in their activities.
