International Book Fair in Belgrade

This year's gathering with books is organized under the slogan "Vive Les Livres". More than 400 exhibitors from 15 countries arrive in the city with a great reason, and the guest country this year is France. Dear admirers of written words, it is time for the Book Fair, which Belgrade has traditionally organized for decades for audiences from all over the world.

Working hours during the fair are from 10:00 to 21:00. Halls 1, 2 and 4 are the exact venue for more than 500 different programs. A special day will be Thursday, 26th October, reserved for the School Day and the awarding of fair awards to the best publishers.

The official opening will be held by the writer and publisher Vladimir Bajac, and the guest of honor on behalf of France is the writer Mathias Enard. The country of honor has prepared for the audience in Belgrade guest appearances by numerous writers accompanied by translators, selected publishers and book distributors, while numerous important names from French literature have also confirmed their guest appearances.

Absolutely one of the most significant events for the culture of Serbia has prepared spectacle for this year as well. The book fair means unique programs, guest appearances by writers from all over the world, promotion of education, literary creativity, cultural and artistic exchange, debates, conversations on various topics, presentations and promotions, and all together will surely mark the book festival in the best way.
