The 20th Belgrade Rolleriad Plus is organized on Saturday, 23rd September from 12:00 to 18:00, when many fans of activity on the wheels will show their knowledge and skills. Specially organized races, premiere competitions, various attractions and a lot of awards are waiting for the participants of the favorite city event. Registration for participation is open until 22nd September at 20:00 on the Rolleriad Website - rolerijada.rs/prijava/
The Rolleriad 2017 will take place in as many as five competitive zones, and as every year so far, the youngest ones will roll with their parents, beginners and professionals, and all those who support active entertainment. Rollerblades, bikes, skateboards, hoverboard, segway - every wheel mean of transport has the right to participate. After a full-day contest programme, visitors will have the opportunity to attend a fun programme. The organizers prepared a Rock and Roller gig at the Republic Square, featuring Masterblasters, Johnny Rankovic and his band The Churlians as well as DJ Alex Ice. The giant of the local rock, Zika Jelic from Ju grupa, will also perform in the musical programme.
Belgrade dance fusion consists of the best dancers from Serbia, and they will perform from 12:00 to 18:00 in the entertainment zone 1. A spectacular performance with a lot of positive energy and top dance skills will be realized for the first time in the open space. Another active party is awaiting Belgraders and their guests, a group fitness called After Belfis Rollfit, which will be organized on the Student Plateau.
COMPETITIVE ZONES
I competitive zone - the Republic Square - Poli family zone
Poli family zone is reserved for all families that prefer a common ride. In this zone, roller skates, bikes of all sizes, skateboards, scooters, hoverboard and segway will be riden on a circular runway. Together with the sponsor of this zone, Poli, the following competitions were created: Children's Roller Race, 4-wheel Bikes Race, Bikes without pedals Race, Tricycle Race, Scooters, Scooters for Adults and Hoverboard Parallel Slalom.
II competitive zone - Terazije - Fly London Roler Land
The most popular zone of every Rolleriad will gather fans of various in-line disciplines this time as well, in cooperation with the Roller Association of Serbia. Experienced riders and instructors are available to beginners who want to master this demanding skill. Preparation for the race is in Nikola Pasic Street.
The competitions to be organized in this zone are: Art Skating, Skateboard Park, Aggressive Park, Freestyle Obstacle Course, Speed Skating (Demo Team), Alpe Adria Cup (International Competition) and for the first time, a special race for fitness roller riders is organized.
III competitive zone - Vasina Street - Roller Hockey Tournament
There will be set up two hockey pitches where the Roller Hockey Tournaments will be held. The tournament starts at 12:00.
IV competitive zone - Vasina Street - Dacia Biker and Roller obstacle course
The Bike and Roller obstacle course will be set up in Vasina Street, closer to the Students Square, and technical help and support is provided by AMSS.
V competitive zone - Terazije (lower part) - Naxi Slalom Zone
For the first time at Rolleriad, a special route for slalom and giant slalom will be organized. Along the route, gates - that is, rods will be set up and the competitors will pass them by the given trajectory.
