Worldwide famous musician performs at Kombank arena in Belgrade on 17th September within "57th & 9th World Tour" world tour. The current series of concerts, that has started in North America in February this year, has presented talented artist to more than 50 cities of Europe, Central and South America so far. Three-member band that consists of Sting`s longtime associates guitarists Dominic Miller and Rufus Miller and drummer Josh Freese has joined Sting on this tour. There is also a special guest Joe Sumner and accordionist Percy Cardona from the band "The Last Bandoleros". Live Nation in RZO Entertainment Inc. production in collaboration with Universal Music Classical Management & Productions promote the world tour.

The world tour is followed by positive reviews of both the competent critics and ardent fans since the beginning. Some of them are: "At the heart of what Sting does is a supreme talent, flowing melodies, audacious grooves and meaningful lyrics delivered by a master musician who seems to get a genuine sense of accomplishment from performing at the highest possible level. This show deserved a badge of honour." and "Sting shows diversity, depth and ever-lasting rock energy on this tour. List of songs vary from new powerful songs and solo materials to classic "The Police" hits. Sting is a universal narrator made of what the legends are made of."

Sting’s twelfth solo studio album, "57th & 9th", his first rock/pop project in over a decade, was released November 11 on "A&M/Interscope Records". The ten-song collection represents a wide range of Sting’s musical and songwriting styles from the raucous, guitar-driven first single, "I Can’t Stop Thinking About You" to unbelievable energy of "Petrol Head" and the anthemic "50,000." The last track, "50.000" was created in the week when Prince passed away, and the track is dedicated to all famous colleagues who passed away in 2016: David Bowie, Lemmy, Glenn Frey and Prince. The album, produced by Martin Kierszenbaum, was recorded in just a few weeks with Sting’s long-time collaborators Dominic Miller (guitar) and Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), as well as drummer Josh Freese, guitarist Lyle Workman and backing vocals by the San Antonio-based "Tex-Mex" band and "The Last Bandoleros".

The British giant with the symphony orchestra visited Serbian capital six years ago. The first Sting`s experiment with genres was his classical album "Songs from the Labyrinth". The album features music by the 16th century composer John Dowland. Some of the songs were performed on lutes. The audience now has the opportunity to enjoy his authentic pop rock sound within the tour that is - as many people think - the crown of Sting`s live performances. Tickets for Sting’s concert in Belgrade will go on general sale on Wednesday, June 21st at the box offices: Kombank Arena, Eventim, Bilet Center Belgrade, Dom Omladine, Usce Shopping center, and online.

Sting is a singer, composer, actor, songwriter and activist. He was born in Wallsend, north-east England. He moved to London in 1977 where he formed "The police" with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. During his long career, he has sold over 100 million albums.
