Metal band Voivod from Canada is performing for the first time in front of the local audience at the Belgrade Youth Center on 5th October from 21:00. Special guests are the Earthship quartet that will present the new album Hollowed. The concert organizers, MH Concerts and Serbian Hellbangers, announce excellent performance and intense metal beats.
Progressive/trash metal band from Canada, the authentic innovators of the sci-fi metal genre include: Denis Bélanger Snake (vocals), Daniel Mongrain Chewy (guitar), Dominique Laroche Rocky (bass guitar) and Michel Langevin Away (drums). Since the formation of the band, in the early 80's, they have often changed genres, explored new ones, perfected their knowledge and thus gained their own style in music and were recognized as one of the "big four" Canadian metal bands.
The Voivod story began in 1982. The first album, War and Pain, was released in 1984, and the world's first major success was reached with the release of Nothingface in 1989, which was 114th on the Billboard 200 chart. Metal musicians were once again at the top of the charts and won numerous awards with the latest album Post Society, released in 2016 for the Century Media label.
