October again and Bemus again! An ideal combination because life without music is just counting the days on the calendar. The Belgrade Festival Center, the organizer of the famous city music event, has prepared a great program.

Ladies and gentlemen, a repertory of classical and contemporary music is coming, which will delight all the senses. Every concert that will be remembered forever starts at exactly 20:00.

The eighth of October. The National Theater is the venue for the opening gala when the live spectacle will begin. The occasion is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas, and Orchestra and Choir of the National Theatre in Belgrade, Vassiliki Karagianni (soprano), Andrea Carè (tenor) and Dian Tchobanov (conductor) will perform. Bellini, Verdi, Puccini, Thomas and Cilea will be on the program.

The eleventh of October. The Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, Roman Simovic (violin) and the conductor and director of Bemus, Bojan Sudjic, have chosen to play Schostakovich in the Kolarac Endowment for the concert. Impressive, challenging, wonderful.

The thirteenth of October. The atrium of the National Museum is the place where the Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense "Stanislav Binicki" will perform - an evening of composer Ivan Jevtic. The conductor is Vesna Souc, and the performers are Aleksandra Kindjic (oboe), Dusan Panajotovic (violin), Uki Ovaskainen (piano).

The fourteenth of October. Again from 20:00 but in Kolarac. Symphony Orchestra and Choir of RTS and Opera Choir of the National Theater in Belgrade, Sonja Saric (soprano), Deniz Uzun (mezzo-soprano), Mario Bahg (tenor), Goran Juric (bass) and Bojan Sudjic (conductor) will present Verdi's Requiem in their own style.

The fifteenth of October. The National Museum will host the Rubicon Quartet. Robert Lakatos (violin), Marko Josifovski (violin), Jozef Bisak (viola), Dragan Djordjevic (violoncello) and Mihail Horia (piano) play with them. Mendelssohn: String Quartet No. 2, Dvorak: Piano Quintet No. are the content that will take you far away from the present.

Monday. Remember well because the concert scheduled for 16th October is one of the biggest attractions of Bemus. Kolarac endowment will surely be insufficient for everyone who wants to hear an undisputed festival of music. Boris Berezovsky and the Blues Doctors band. Beethoven and Mendelssohn in one concert. Delight is already in the air.

The seventeenth of October, also Kolarac Hall, but this evening the stage belongs to the Zagreb soloists and Sreten Krstic on the violin.

The eighteenth of October. Ljubisa Jovanovic (flute), Dejan Mladjenovic (viola) and Aleksandar Serdar (piano) will do everything to make Bach, Scarlatti, Schubert, Chopin and M. Mihajlovic be a concert to remember in Church of St. Anthony.

The twentieth of October. The RTS Symphony Orchestra, conductor Premil Petrovic and Stanko Mladic (violin) perform at the Kolarac Hall. If you are hesitating whether to come, the answer is yes because this is the penultimate segment of the program.

Musical finale. Saturday and Sunday, 21st and 22nd October, Kolarac. These are concerts that will be talked about for a long time. Nigel Kennedy with his violin and the Orchestra Virtuosi selected Bach: Violin Concerti, Concerto for Two Violins, Concerto for Violin and Oboe. Five years have passed since Kennedy's last concert in Belgrade. This kind of entertainment and quality time should not be missed.
