The 16th Museum Night in Belgrade will be held on 18th May. It starts at 16:00 and lasts until midnight. The programme is divided into seven zones - Children's Tour, Music, Science, Untold Stories, Belgrade with Style, Historical and Contemporary Tour and will be realized in attractive parts of the city such as Kalemegdan, Knez Mihailova Street, Dorcol, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra, Ruzveltova Street, Dedinje, Senjak, Topcider, Novi Beograd and Zemun.
Almost every museum, gallery, cultural center and institutions of great importance will open their doors to the Museum Night. A completely different content is planned for each place. From workshops for the youngest, to unknown historical stories for all generations through concerts and exhibitions that will bring the future closer. All you can imagine will be at your disposal on the 18th May night.
The opening ceremony is in the Cvijeta Zuzoric Art Pavilion where Bojana Vunturisevic and DFhor will perform. Gallery of Science and Technique SANU (SASA) is focused on educative lessons about blood types. The Pedagogical Museum will organize a walk with robots. The zoo reveals the secrets of animals that live only when darkness falls. Kolarac Foundation is reserved for reading poetry. The National Theater Museum will return to the first days of its biography. Representatives of public companies and Red Cross staff will give a lecture on the necessary advice on safe living in the city. Looking at the world from the angle of designers, the performances of DJs, the presentation of cultural heritage and much more are eagerly awaiting the beginning of a unique event - Museum Night 2019.
Symbolic name of this year's manifestation "Freedom" calls for unconstrained thinking. Not only through the form of artistic expression, but also when it comes to every step and move that are everyday life. Be free to indulge in activities, exhibitions, music and much more in the incredible Museum Night. Without limits.
