La Fleur is a special personality. A pharmacist who mixes music, not chemical ingredients. A fashion designer who creates ready-to-wear fashion. A producer with fine hearing. A cross media artist without limits. Remixes are her passion. So far, she has collaborated with numerous DJs and producers in this field. Stuff, Martin Dawson, Jesper Ryom and Ane Brun are just some of the names she have successfully connected with and achieved great cooperation. She has a magical feeling to connect audiences to music and create a great party. She is not afraid of challenges and she very often changes her genres.
Sanna La Fleur Engdahl showed her love for music already at the age of eight. In her hometown, Örebro she attended classes of dance and then she realized that the sound was what moved her. She left the music aside and turned to studying. Pharmacy was what she chose and she graduated with master degree. After the faculty, she went on a quest for DJ engagement and got a job at the Swedish club "Grodan Cocktail Club" which is considered a key clubbing site. She won the sixth place in the "Sweden Top 100 DJ's list" in 2007. The following year, she was nominated for the best DJ by the "Scandinavian Music Convention". The most important award she has won was "Best Electronic Act" awarded by Swedish Grammy or "P3 Guld" in 2014.
Sweden is her homeland but she finds inspiration in the capital of Germany. Berlin is the city where she has been living and creating since 2007. She got her first production job the same year. She made a remix of the song "Nairu", signed by David Ekenbäck and released by "Trunkfunk Records". With the debut album "Flowerhead" for her own label "Power Plant Records", she drew attention to herself. Managers of the famous Berlin club "Watergate" quickly found out about this lady and offered her a job she has wanted for long time - she became one of the hosts of the dance floor. She has won the first place among all DJs on the "Resident Advisor" list and soon, a big tour in America followed.
She has not stopped for the last two years. Since 2016, she has been an active member of the team behind the label "Cocoon Recordings", and this engagement has opened many doors to her. The debut song for their compilation "Chemicality" has gone very well. Techno friendship with big names - Richie Hawtin and Dubfire just strengthened her position on the club scene. Especially the one in Ibiza. Clubs Pacha and Privilege are places that are much more than a good disco. They dictate trends and move boundaries. And not anyone can play music there. And La Fleur is regular.
