Belgrade Zoo. Garden of good hope. Belgrade zoo garden. Different names for one place. A unique place in Belgrade. It has always been different. There have always been special rules. Legendary alligator Muja. Seals, hippopotamuses, wolves, llamas, kangaroos. There is no member of a large family that is not favourite to someone.
The latest in a series of innovations in the Beo Zoo is a penguinarium. Recently, 17 penguins from Austria and the Emirates moved to the city. Ten female and seven male Humboldt penguins, born in Chile and Peru, live in a completely new modern environment. The penguinarium has everything it takes for a happy life. The interior and exterior spaces where penguins feel great are the result of a three-year construction. It is planned to host up to forty penguins in it. Definitely, the first seventeen is delighted with their new home.
