Belgrade Dance Festival 2019 starts with the performance "Eastman" in the Sava Center on 22nd March. Five dancers, along with four musicians, will present the city of Brussels in an exceptional edition. From the very beginning of the sixteenth collection of trained movements, it is quite clear that until 12th April, until the event is held, it will be unforgettable in Belgrade.
Beside the Sava Center, Madlenianum, the Belgrade Drama Theater, Atelje 212, the Terazije Theater and the Yugoslav Drama Theater are the locations where the programme of dance spectacle will be realized.
"Emotions" are this year's slogan of the Belgrade Dance Festival featuring the Nederlands Dans Theater, Pere Faura from Barcelona, Gauthier Dance, more precisely Eric Gauthier from Stuttgart, BalletX from Philadelphia, Korzo Theater from the Hague, Agrupación Señor Serrano again from Barcelona, Rachid Ouramdane from Grenoble, National Choreographic Center from France, Canadian company Marie Chouinard, Batsheva Ensamble from Tel Aviv, Dada Masilo & The Dance Factory from Johannesburg, Eun-Me Ahn Company from South Korea, Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and almost 30 more dancers. The whole world, dancing world in one place.
Beside in the capital of Serbia, the festival will be organized in Novi Sad and Vrsac. The end of the unusual event for the Belgrade audience is scheduled for 11th April from 20:00 in the Sava Center. A special choreography, top-class music and a flawless team from the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company will provoke strong feelings. Just like the entire festival content that puts the emotions in the center.
