Friends and associates gathered in Houston, Texas, but their careers took them to Brooklyn where they currently live and work. The music they create exceeds the defined frames and connects jazz, hip-hop and rock in a special way. Robert Glasper is a successful jazz pianist and rapper, and this trio is just one of the projects he runs. A rich career has been marked by various ventures, each showing the undeniable talent of this musician.
