The ice skating season is in progress. Winter 2017/18 brings new ice rinks in Belgrade and a great accompanying programme. In more than ten locations across the city, outdoor ice rinks are installed, and there are also famous ice halls. Choose your favourite place and enjoy the winter magic.
Winter Town on Ada
The stone town on Ada Ciganlija is a special skating rink of an irregular shape. Only one like that in Belgrade is a real attraction. The DJs play music, the rhythm is accompanied by modern lighting, and the fireworks will "spice up" the ice fun. More than hundred plays have been announced for the youngest and varied additional content. Children will be delighted. For those who want to improve their knowledge, schools of figure skating and hockey are also organized. Santa Claus will bring even better fun on the ice, weekend parties, prize games, masquerades and much more.
Nikola Pasic Square
Ice skating under the open sky in the heart of the city. Traditional winter idyll for this year announces the richest programme. All visitors can expect performances of famous DJs and bands, fairy tales on ice, creative workshops for children, Christmas masquerades and numerous fun activities. The rink which is an integral part of the "Belgrade Winter" manifestation will work until the end of January.
A well-known location for everyone. The "Aleksandar Nikolic" Hall opened its doors the first to the ice skaters in Belgrade. All season, visitors will enjoy the largest ice space. For those who are not fans of outdoor skating, "Pionir" ice hall is the right place for relaxation and active sports.
Ice skating at Tas
Another zone of skating within the "Belgrade Winter" manifestation. Tas ice rink is a famous place that works again after several years of break. Visitors will enjoy retro music from the sixties, seventies and eighties. Holiday decoration, animations, ice skating with celebrities and a programme dedicated to children will make the winter more beautiful.
As every year so far, a rink has been set up in front of the entrance to the popular shopping center in Novi Beograd (New Belgrade). Primarily intended for the youngest for whom various fun and educational gatherings were prepared. Adults can let go to the icy magic after great shopping or in the time when "Family Games Without Frontiers". Kindergarten on ice, ice hockey school and figure skating school and disco for lovers are just some of the events that will be realized at this place.
Ice skating at Stepa
The part of the city Stepa Stepanovic gets its rink. During the cold days, the residents of this new part in Belgrade will have a reason not to leave their neighbourhood. The sports field has been turned into a rink where the music will be played. Programmes for children and adults guarantee fun on ice skates.
The Museum of Contemporary Art
The most famous museum in Serbia has given its plateau to the ice magic. Ice skating outdoors in front of the museum is a real attraction, and the natural beauties surrounding the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers will further emphasize the winter idyll. All open ice skating rinks directly depend on weather conditions so, when temperatures are more than average for this time of the year, they will not work.
Winter joy on ice
"Stadion" shopping center joins ice skating places. With music and a positive festive atmosphere, ice skaters of all ages will be able to enjoy this place as well. Especially the youngest because heroes from the famous cartoon "Frozen" will make them company on the ice.
Sports Center "Pingvin"
Residents of Novi Beograd have a real ice hall located in block 62 near the elementary school "Kneginja Milica". The recreational and professional hockey area is open every day from 12:00, and only when a professional hockey tournament is organized, the ice rink does not work.
Zemun park
Another place in Belgrade for skating. A rink with a fun programme was set in front of the shopping center. A school for ice skating for children, a mini tournament in hockey and performances of figure skaters are organized. Winter fun on ice in Zemun for a festive atmosphere.
Ice skating in Borca
An open ice rink in Borca 3 on the Vidovdan field joins numerous locations in Belgrade. Residents of this part of the city will be able to join the winter fun under the open sky. The entry is free as well as on all open ice skating rinks. Only ice skating rentals are charged. The entertainment available to everyone will make winter become a favourite season.
