The 2nd Belgrade Techno Festival takes place at Barutana Club on 1st and 2nd September. The excellent event that had the premiere of the best clubbing last year, for this edition gathers the best quality domestic DJs that brought techno sound to Belgrade in the 80's and the most popular young representatives of modern beat. It's unimaginable to organize a techno event without Boza Podunavac. A man, who for over 30 years has played great music, confirmed his arrival at Kalemegdan, where he will make memorable night out with numerous DJs whose mentor he was. A special surprise is the Tehnika 8x8 association that is returning to the Belgrade scene after more than 10 years. The DJ organization, which was among the first to launch the organization of top-level Synthesis parties, brought in world-renowned names such as Adam Beyer, Marco Bailey, Mistress Barbara, Thomas Krome, Henrik B and many others to domestic clubs. They began their rich career in the '90s in clubs that were symbols of the techno universe in the city: Barutana, Industrija and Omen, and they found their place on the scene with successful mixing of techno and house mixed with other genres. Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Charles Siegling, Monica Kruse, Marco Carola, Valentino Kanzyani are just some of the world's names with whom they shared the DJ mixers.

The first edition of the Techno Festival was visited by more than 3.200 fans of electronic music and an even higher attendance is expected this year. The goal of this event is to promote domestic techno DJs and producers and to place their skills and competences in a proper place, as well as to gain a larger media space.
