There is not much time to sum up the impressions of the January days. The splendid February 2018 brought everything it takes for great days and unforgettable nights. There is just no snow yet. Sretenje (The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple) and Statehood Day are non-working days in Serbia, and are celebrated on 15th and 16th February. With good organization, there are four days that can be used for enjoying winter magic on some of the mountains. There is no unsolvable problem.

The most important event of this month is Saint Trifun. The only day of the year when it is legitimate to enjoy the wine. Of course, drinking the most romantic drink is not the point of celebrating this St. Patron's Day, but sometimes we can relax a bit more. Love is celebrated in Serbia every day. Why would you limit your emotions to just one date?
The gastronomic magic called "Balkan Cheese Festival 2018" is held at the Belgrade Youth Center on 17th and 18th February. We all take this food for granted and we do not even think that behind it there are science, experience, knowledge of nature and great work. You can see the secrets of cheese making, professional advice and tasting at the seventh edition of the festival. No matter how homelike you feel in this field, something that is labeled rarely and unusually always comes up. All of you who love electronic music - techno and other genres, have a compulsory history lesson and future lesson as well. Electro pioneers, German band Kraftwerk perform at Stark Arena on 24th February. The old school presents a 3D spectacle that goes around the world under the name "Gesamtkunstwerk - a complete artwork". When they started in 1970, they were freaks, an attraction. Kraftwerk were not, nor are today just a music band, they are multimedia artists and very spacious, posh, intellectual composition. No, you do not have fun in their performances. In their performances, you actively participate with all your senses.
The International Film Festival - FEST 2018 is held from 23rd February to 4th March. The edition under the serial number 46 is called "Pridji blize" (Come closer) and this year, the selectors chose films that represent the connection between domestic production, commercial cinema repertoire and the most important author films created between the two festivals. The 46th FEST will be opened by movie "Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri" by Martin McDonagh. Screenings will be held at the Sava Center. 116 premieres and ten movie classics divided into festival programmes of competitive and non-competitive character will be screened on several locations in the city and festival prizes will be awarded.
