The 11th International Documentary Film Festival Beldocs is being held in Belgrade from 7th to 14th May. In ten locations in the city, the audience will be able to view exactly 98 films in 14 programme units. The great film festival will accommodate more than 100 personalities from the world of documentary professional film. World premiere, the latest from Serbian production and quality accompanying programme make the festival an event in a city that should not be missed.
For the fifteenth time, Belgrade has its Night of Museums under the motto "Victories and Victors". Remember the date - 19th May from 17:00 because over sixty locations, museums, memorial houses, galleries and cultural institutions are opening their doors to an unforgettable gathering. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the World War I, and each war has its victors and victories. This year, take the opportunity to visit places that are not on a regular museum route, such as Radio Belgrade 2, Veljkovic family house, Red Cross of Serbia, University Library, Tanjug, JKP GSP. In these places you will see wars and victories from a different angle - the angle of the inhabitants of Belgrade.
For the nineteenth year in a row, Belgrade will be the dearest witness to the wedding of dozens of couples. The 20th jubilee manifestation "Collective Wedding - Fantasy Wedding" will be held on 20th May in front of the Belgrade City Assembly. With a rich cultural-artistic programme and national television broadcast, couples will say famous I do. The event originated in 1999 as a response to the NATO bombing and symbolized the victory of the life and love of Belgraders and all those who are in love in Serbia.
