"The Nutcracker" ballet on ice is been played at the Sava Center on 6th December from 21:00. The Russian State Ballet from St. Petersburg will perform a spectacular show. This is the first group in the world to perform a show on the ice in ballet costumes. Classical art in a different way has already won the biggest stages of the world, and now the audience in Belgrade has the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic event.


The Saint-Petersburg State Ballet on ice founded in 1967 by the outstanding choreographer Konstantin Boyarsky, is the successor of the remarkable traditions of the St.Petersburg school of the classical ballet. In recent years, it has been led by the famous art director Konstantin Rassadin, former soloist of the world-famous Mariinsky Ballet, Merited Artist of Russia. Musical director is Leo Korkhin, prominent Russian conductor.

There are about 20 dancers in the company who have the honorable titles of the Masters of Sports of Russia for the victories at the all-Russia and international figure-skating competitions. Olympic champions, top athletes - Ludmila Beloussova, Alexei Ulanov, Ludmila Smirnova and many others during their career were members of this ballet association.


"The Nutcracker" has been performed since 1995. A classic ice ballet has visited China, America, Canada, Germany, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Korea, Portugal, Switzerland, South America and many other countries. They enjoy great media popularity and there are always just words of praise for them.
