With or without snow, "Belgrade Winter 2018/19" has arrived. From 1st December to 31st January, at 15 locations, the event will include more than 1,000 participants, over 500 hours of content and 200 events. For children, for the eldest, for busy ones and for those who are always free. The most interesting winter in the whole city.

The legendary "Open Heart Square" this year changes the place but not the concept. Due to the works on the Republic Square, the wooden houses will be placed between the Square and Obilićev venac Street, as well as in front of the Faculty of Philosophy. Homemade handicrafts, hot drinks, sweets, toys and New Year's decoration will be in the shopping offer.


Concert of classical music at the Sava Center, New Year's Fair, more precisely "The 58th Belgrade New Year's Festival" at the Fair, "Open Heart Street" on the first day of January, workshops "Children Help Children" in Kombank Hall, concert of film music "(Ne)nacrtani junaci crtanih filmova" (Cartoon Characters) at the Children's Cultural Center and much more promise quality entertainment.

Innovation for this year's edition is open-air cinema near Slavija Square. New Year's Eve with films? Why not! Classics and the latest films will be screened on 30th and 31st December. Open air cinema has screenings even on 1st January.

"Christmas at the Temple" had a premiere last year, and domestic and foreign audience described the event with words of praise. This year, an even richer programme is announced which will give the opportunity to all generations to experience the perfect winter idyll. Nikola Pasic's Square is becoming "Ice Park". The main reason for coming to this area is the open-air ice rink. Children will also be able to use a sledding area. Winter magic will be complemented by the children's gaming corner as well as concerts, plays and other artistic performances.

The fairytale square will again be the center of entertainment for the youngest. The repertoire abounds with performances, concerts and workshops. The 2018/2019 edition focuses on the Serbian tradition and the entire programme is designed in the spirit of old times. Even exhibits of old crafts will be exhibited on the stalls. The most important part of the programme is the New Year's Eve. On the first day of the programme, on 30th December at 21:00, the winners of digital activation "Sviramo klavir" (We play piano) will get on the stage, followed by Sars, Stereo MCs and Rudimental. The New Year's Eve party on the plateau in front of the National Assembly House, on 31st December again from 21:00, will begin with Sasa Kovacevic. Bajaga i instruktori will sing and play until 23:30. Haris Dzinovic will be the first to congratulate Belgraders and the guests. The old belief says that it is very important to welcome the New Year in a good mood. Dejan Petrovic and his Big bend that will make a spectacle in the city after Haris promise nothing but joy.

New Year's Eve replay marked by diverse music. During the day, from 14:00, on the same place there will be Aleksandar Sedlar, Belgrade Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Opera Soloists, Leontina Vukomanovic and Choir Carolija, Bojana Vunturisevic, Ana Stanic and Aleksandar Erakovic. Night totally changes the rhythm. From 20:00 to 02:00, you will be entertained by Senidah, Rasta, Gramophonedzie and Disciples.
