When children are happy, everything is in its place. You do not have to worry about the good mood of the youngest this weekend, because the Children's Summer Games 2023 in Topciderski Park start on Saturday, 12th August from 17:00. The municipality of Savski venac invites children and their companions to attend a magnificent program that will be held on the plateau in front of the Residence of Prince Milos on Saturday and Sunday. Magicians, clowns and mascots are guests until 3rd September. Performances for children, dance, art and sports workshops led by animators will fill the time in a fun and educational way.

The official opening is scheduled for Saturday, 12th August with the play "The Magic Book" from the production company Hajde obraduj dan. A big round of applause in advance because it is known that wherever the talent of leader Tatjana Milanov appears, a smile on a child's face is guaranteed. Focus on the show just like the youngest and you will be delighted, indeed. Entry to all events at this event is completely free.

Avala Tower: Meteor Night 2023 is a special gathering scheduled for Saturday, 12th August from 21:00. Professional guidance through an amazing program will last until midnight. The magical meteor shower, i.e. the night of the celestial spectacle, will be able to be observed with a telescope as well as with the naked eye from a lying position. A blanket or a mat for lying on are indispensable props for enjoying this natural phenomenon, which representatives of the Rudjer Boskovic Astronomical Society will guide you through. The organizers have prepared a great party under the stars. Tango under the clear sky and an art workshop will brighten up the starry sky in Belgrade.

The open days of the National Theater in Belgrade, the last in this cycle, have been organized for Sunday, 13th August. While walking through the theater building, you will have the opportunity to learn historical information about this cultural building of national importance, to get acquainted with the process of work and creation, visit the stage, dressing rooms, workshops and the theater buffet. The guide through the magic that the theater itself creates is the director of the National Theater Museum, Mr. Dragan Stevovic. At exactly noon, the walk through the artistic galaxy begins.

If you are more in the mood for partying outside the city, where you can hear music from every corner, there is not one but two suggestions for visiting world-famous events. The Assembly of Trumpet Players in Guca takes place from 11th to 13th August. The Nisville Jazz Festival in Nis started on the 10th and will last until the 13th of August. Each in their own style, authentic musical events that are talked about around the world are in the repertoire this weekend. Enjoy.
