The long-awaited winter edition of the Street Food Festival begins this coming weekend at the corner of Kursulina and Krunska Street in the heart of Vracar, and visitors will be presented with more than 10 various exhibitors from the Belgrade craft food scene during the three festival days.
From 22nd to 24th December, the plateau near Kalenic will once again become the stage of open-air world cuisine, and fresh, healthy and high-quality specialties will be prepared on the spot. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy great "street food", good music and a magical pre-holiday atmosphere.
Street Food Festival will offer visitors to enjoy the flavors of an authentic American burger, specialties of Korean, Japanese and Jamaican cuisine, mini sarmica (cabbage rolls), London street food, famous Belgrade dumplings, homemade sausages, veggie burgers, raclette and halloumi cheeses, but also warm winter drinks.
With a musical selection of well-known names from the city's DJ scene, the plateau near Kalenic will become an ideal location for socializing and enjoying the perfect combination of food and music during the upcoming weekend. Seating will be provided for visitors, as well as heating of the festival area, which will make the stay even more pleasant for all fans of winter festivals and street food.
Street Food Festival with the support of Ball Packaging Europe and the Every Can Counts project wants to draw the public's attention to the importance of environmental protection and recycling, as well as the possibility of infinite aluminum recycling. That is why boxes for the disposal of used aluminum packaging will be placed at several different points at the festival, and promoters with special backpacks in which it is also possible to dispose of the used can will be on site.
In cooperation with the representatives of the Z10 team - our most successful domestic e-sport team, another socially responsible action will be implemented. The festival will once again feature a specially designed Z10 burger, which can be found in the Bullger Bar during all three festival days, and part of the funds collected from the sale of this burger will be forwarded directly to the charity EHLS (e-sport humanitarian league of Serbia). The goal of this action is to draw attention to the importance of e-sports, but also to raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of social responsibility.
Entry to the festival is free, and the opening hours of the festival are from 13:00 to 23:00. See you on the plateau near Kalenic from 22nd to 24th December.
